The white, powderlike skin was glossed into what seemed like a liquid silver; the eyes seemed bloodshot, the veins surrounding the pitch black irises popped out with fury and strain. Deep red liquid poured out from the corner of a set of pale pink lips curled around slightly sharpened teeth made jagged from years of frustrated teeth-grinding. Could this unhumanly creature be considered human-like?
Grotesquely long nails, dinged with dirt and stained with blood, brushed against the lively flesh of the young girl-- a breath fanned across her neck slowly, the cool breeze giving rise to goosebumps. Chills ran down the girls spine as a drop of crimson fell upon her lip. A gnarled, black tongue snaked its way out from the cavernous depth of a mouth to lick away the droplet, savoring the taste of blood and the small pre-taste of what was soon to come: delicious skin and an elixer of life from a tantalizing young woman. The young girl's heart quickened with fear, a cold sweat beginning to form on her lower back, just below the lean and powerful arm of the creature. A cold hand cupped her cheek softly, the chilling thumb running across underneath her chin. The rough edge of a cracked nail scrached into the skin, making the female shake, her spine turning rigid with a tear rolling down her cheek. Neon lights flashed in the distance, the thundering slot machines drowned out the young girl's cries and battled the volume of the crowd below. The beautifully frightening creature gazed menacingly deep into her eyes, the craze for blood evident in its eyes. She opened her mouth to yell but found that she lost her voice in fright. "Viva Las Vegas' was faintly heard in the background somewhere below the towering building. Here she was on top of a casino full of people, being passed by hordes of tourists tipsy from a night of fun, and she was about to get killed. More tears flowed down her face as the creature leaned his face closer to her soft neck: his target.
Her vision blurred with fear as the cold lips began to suck and wet the area that seemed most vital, so full of blood. The sharp teeth began to grow steadily, pressuring the skin to break. Fear pumped the heart faster making the creature want her blood more, sending him to a sharp bite. As she felt the knife-like teeth dig and rip into her skin, the girl gasped in shock and pain; shortly after, the ear-shattering scream echoed down onto the Strip below.
Vegas fell silent as tourists and locals stopped, a chill running through the crowd.
The fearful scream trailed off into a gurgle as blood slowly drizzled from underneath the lips of the creature. Her arms locked up with pain as the rest of her body went limp. Once drained of blood, the creature laid the silent corpse onto the casino roof top, net to his other, more silent victims, his slim, ghostly fingers gathering up the crimson drink. The black tongue licked up the liquid joyously as the Strip came alive once more.
